Guided path: release results

Applies to:OwnerManager

Use this path after a survey closes, when it’s time to share results deliberately. Each step links to the full guide.

  1. Confirm the survey is closed. Release controls unlock only after the close date passes. If the survey is still running, either wait or accept the current window; it can’t be shortened. Guide: Understand survey statuses.

  2. Review results internally. Open Analyze results and read through every tab: Benefits, Compensation, Trends, Businesses. Note the confidence labels and which questions fall below the safe harbor threshold. Guides: Analyze results, Understand results and safe harbor.

  3. Configure visibility. On the Results Release tab, decide: should the Businesses tab be visible to released audiences, and with which columns? Should results be restricted to individually granted respondents? Set up filter axes if viewers should be able to slice results. Guide: Release results.

  4. Prepare the audiences. Add viewers, check subscriber grants, and enable or disable individuals. Nothing becomes visible until release. Guide: Manage who can see results.

  5. Preview as a released viewer. Use Preview results as viewer (or the Released audience toggle). What you see is exactly what they’ll see: suppressed questions, hidden columns, and all. Fix anything wrong before releasing.

  6. Release. Release now per audience, or record a scheduled date with Release on date (confirm access on the day). Revoke is always available if something needs to come back down.
