Key ideas to know
Section titled “Key ideas to know”- A survey moves through four stages: draft, running, closed, and compiled. Release is a separate, deliberate action per audience.
- Invitees become survey takers when the survey launches and invitation emails go out.
- Results stay private after a survey closes until an owner or manager releases them to viewers, takers, or subscribers.
- Safe harbor hides any question answered by fewer businesses than the survey’s threshold, so no single company’s data can be identified.
- Owners and managers always see more than released audiences. Use the Released audience preview to check exactly what viewers will see.
- Compensation questions collect wage ranges per occupation, and results show aggregated regional data only.
Privacy note
Section titled “Privacy note”Screenshots in this help center use demo accounts and sample surveys, never live customer information. Survey answers are only ever shown to released audiences as aggregates protected by safe harbor.
